In our update on the ongoing general election,report says President Muhammadu Buhari party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate for Katsina North senatorial district, incumbent Kaita Baba-Ahmad, lost the unit to the candidate of Accord party, Lawal Nalado.
MYSTREETGIST gathered Mr. Nalado secured 263 while Mr. Kaita got 248 votes.
Usman Mani, the candidate of the major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic (PDP), scored only 2 votes.
Recall that President Buhari has won his polling unit, PU003 at Sarkin Yara ward A, in Daura, Katsina.
The President scored 523 votes while Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the PDP, got only 3 votes.
President Buhari had on Saturday morning after casting his vote reaffirmed his confidence in winning the presidential election.

Mrs Buhari was the first to vote before the president at 8.06 a.m., while the president voted at 8.10 a.m.
